Rob Haines is the DCI in charge of the CID unit in [[wiki:bradwick|Bradwick]] police. He's tall, burly and has curly dark hair. He's also about to be promoted to Superintendent and leave operational life behind.

Rob is not from [[wiki:bradwick|Bradwick]], but spent summer holidays with his aunt in [[wiki:tinmouth|Tinmouth]]. This gave him a love for the area and when he met his wife, Jem, a local woman, they settled here.
