Reg Patterson is in his late fifties and is a retired assistant chief constable of Avon, Somerset and Wootenshire Police.
Born and bred in Bradwick.
He had been a policeman for over thirty years. He's always out-ranked Rob Haines and has acted as a mentor and friend to him over the years. Haines still seeks him out for advice.
